https://www.tarynd.com

An accomplished musician who has been performing professionally for over 25 years, Taryn has an incredibly commanding performance style….each live performance is exciting and spontaneous. Her piano playing is tenacious and purposeful, while her voice is smooth, sultry, and unique to her. Taryn lights up the stage every
time she plays.

Currently, Taryn has been performing as a duo with a drummer… Fresh, unique and exciting the two play anything from 60’s soul jazz, funk, jump/swing, Latin, and their own term of beatnik blues taking the listener on a musical adventure. With an unwavering left hand, a right hand that weaves in and out effortlessly, and a backbeat as solid as a rock, theDuo has a sound larger than life.
Each performance is different from the last, capturing the moods of the players. The two are not bound by rules, but instead have a desire to express their own musical voice and deliver something captivating.

“I look forward to creating something unique each time I play.”- Taryn

Detroit Underground

Detroit Underground

April 6 @ 8:00 pm
Genre: Dance
$15 cover

The Detroit Underground  was established in 1994, and still has several of its original members. Over the years the band has earned the reputation for being a hard working, high energy, show band. The group features a very solid and funky rhythm section. These four seasoned players provide a solid foundation for the band’s “smokin” horns.

Topping it off are California’s best male and female lead vocalists. These two high-powered singers will light up the stage, and leave you singing their songs long after you leave the show.

This powerful combination of dedicated musicians gives the band the ability to crank out tunes from artists such as EARTH, WIND, and FIRE, CHAKA KAHN,and STEVIE WONDER. We also play great motown hits and heart-felt ballads.

The Detroit Underground is not just another nightclub act, but a complete musical experience

Red Headed Strangers

Red Headed Strangers

Red Headed Strangers

April 24 @ 8:30 pm
Genre: Country Rock
$5 cover

ZB Savoy, Mike Butler, Patrick McClory and Matt Lynott are the Red Headed Strangers playing the music of… Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, The Highwaymen, Hank Williams, George Jones, Johnny Paycheck, Jimmy Rogers, David Allen Coe, George Straight, and many more…

RHS is not a traditional “tribute band”, but pays homage to Willie Nelson and the Outlaw Country genre he helped create, pulling from the same all American country songbook that Willie and friends have been pulling from for decades. As so many great performers have done before, these timeless songs (from as far back as the early 1900s) are the perfect canvas to deliver performances filled with world class musicianship and a sincerity, energy and authenticity that is uniquely the Red Headed Strangers.
