Mark Farner, Singer/Songwriter/Frontman of Grand Funk Railroad, CCM Recording artist Two Or More, Viva Santana, and most recently, Bobby Kimball (the Original Lead Singer of TOTO) as well as Bill Champion Singer/Songwriter, Keyboardist & Guitarist for Chicago. Other notable performances have taken me halfway around the world with Cheap Trick, Robin Trower, Blue Oyster Cult, Bachman/Turner/Overdrive, REO SpeedWagon, Edgar Winter, Carmen, Phil Keaggy & The Newsboys just to name a few. More recently, I have begun to play with a 9 piece horn band called Top Brassss, an All Star Band featuring members of Blood Sweat & Tears, Tower of Power, Miami Sound Machine and Chicago, as well as the band Tribal Reasons.

Johnny “V” has played guitar with many Blues greats like Chicago guitarist Luther Tucker, Sunnyland Slim, Rock& Roll Legend Chuck Berry, Steve “Guitar” Miller, Greg Allman , George Thorogood, Charlie Daniels , Commander Cody & the Lost Planet Airmen and Elvin Bishop to name a few. Johnny was recruited into Elvin Bishop’s band that led to 6 albums, Gold Records, endless touring and the #3 song in the nation by 1974 “Fooled Around and Fell in Love.” Elvin and Johnny’s dual lead and slide parts set a style that was part of the Southern Rock Sound and continues to live on today. These four seasoned players provide a solid foundation for the band’s “smokin” horns. Topping it off are California’s best male and female lead vocalists. These two high-powered singers will light up the stage, and leave you singing their songs long after you leave the show. This powerful combination of dedicated musicians gives the band the ability to crank out tunes from artists such as EARTH, WIND, and FIRE, CHAKA KAHN,and STEVIE WONDER. Over the course of eight years, they have released a plethora of albums and singles, captivating audiences at renowned venues across the Western United States and Canada. They have garnered a devoted fanbase, which was reflected in the band’s 2022 nomination for “Best Rock Artist” at the San Diego Music Awards. Daring Greatly’s music is a fusion of classic rock and modern alternative, infused with elements of folk, blues, and pop, creating a unique and captivating sound. Their live performances are nothing short of electric, with tight harmonies and impressive instrumentals leaving audiences spellbound. Lead vocalists Patrick and Liam Croome are brothers, bringing a strong familial connection to the band’s on-stage chemistry, while drummer Brayden Tario has been best friends with the Croome brothers since high school, bringing a level of comfort and camaraderie to the group. In 2019, the band welcomed electric guitar player David Mills from Lake Elsinore, who added a distinct southern California edge to the band’s sound, and in 2021, Matt Spatol joined on bass.
