Not your average San Diego, CA artist, ASH EASTON came to disrupt the music scene. Returning to her roots, and her name, she’s ready to light the music scene on fire.
ASH EASTON has spent much of her life perfecting her craft. From vocal training of various styles and genres, to national and international shows, she is well rounded in the art of music. She pulls creativity from artists like Aretha Franklin, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Whitney Houston, Brandi Carlile, and Chris Stapleton. As a Puerto Rican, ASH also finds inspiration from the latin community. Her writing isn’t for the faint of heart: she serves it raw and real, but pulls you in with authentic connection, believing that is the point of music.
EASTON is the kind of musician to light your fire: “Her voice is like a shot of whiskey in a snow storm…” one fan says. From ballads to straight rock and roll, ASH EASTON perfectly embodies southern rock, and brings new flavor to the genre. Find out for yourself.
Her album, “Rough & Tough,” is set to debut August 24, 2022 at The Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach at 7P. Get tickets while they’re available.

Bastard Sons of Johnny Cash & Mitch Polzak w/ Sarah Petite
January 13 @ 7:00 pm
The big guy from out West and larger than life energy (he’s also 6’5’) performer, guitarist, singer, banjoist, songwriter, composer, entertainer, musical historian and teacher Mitch Polzak wears his heart on his sleeve and his playing in his heart.Polzak performs rockabilly and 60’s country music with the religious fervor of Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash and delivers a Honky Tonk ballad with the sincerity of Merle Haggard and Waylon Jennings. Mitch will bring a room to a fevered pitch of joyous energy on the dance floor and then tell you a story in a song like two old friends sitting at a kitchen table at midnight. His virtuosic guitar skills and influences range from the blazing flying fingers of Joe Maphis , Marty Stuart, Roy Clark, and Don Rich to the timeless dreamlike state of “Sleepwalk” by Santo and Johnny along with the vast valleys of deep rumbling twang associated with Duane Eddy.
Described by Rolling Stone as “pure Americana heart and soul”, The Bastard Sons of Johnny Cash are the voice and vision of songwriter Mark Stuart. Since forming the band in 1995, he’s performed with most every major artist in the Country and Americana music community. Stuart was personally given permission to use the band’s name by Johnny Cash himself. He was also honored by the Man in Black with an invitation to record songs at Cash’s own home in Hendersonville, Tennessee. Two other iconic music legends, Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard, were also early believers who were instrumental in helping Stuart get his start. With the release of their critically acclaimed debut CD “Walk Alone” in 1999, the Bastard Sons quickly proved they were no novelty act. With strong songwriting and great musicianship, the Sons’ quickly jumped to the forefront of the growing Alternative Country scene. No stranger to the road, their constant touring and hard work have built the band a loyal grass roots following both in the States and abroad. Their music has been featured in film, television, and compilation CDs around the world.

The Detroit Underground was established in 1994, and still has several of its original members. Over the years the band has earned the reputation for being a hard working, high energy, show band. The group features a very solid and funky rhythm section. These four seasoned players provide a solid foundation for the band’s “smokin” horns.
Topping it off are California’s best male and female lead vocalists. These two high-powered singers will light up the stage, and leave you singing their songs long after you leave the show.
This powerful combination of dedicated musicians gives the band the ability to crank out tunes from artists such as EARTH, WIND, and FIRE, CHAKA KAHN,and STEVIE WONDER. We also play great motown hits and heart-felt ballads.
